Bright, tart, and a little dangerous—in the best way. A classic marg with a sweet-heat twist that goes down way too easily.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz blanco tequila
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz Cointreau (or triple sec)
  • 1/2 oz LadyBug hot honey syrup*
  • Chili-salt for the rim, lime wheel to garnish

Steps

  1. Rim the glass.
    Swipe the rim with a lime wedge, dip in chili-salt, and fill the glass with fresh ice.
  2. Shake.
    In a shaker with ice: tequila, lime juice, Cointreau, and hot honey syrup. Shake hard 10–12 seconds until icy.
  3. Strain & garnish.
    Strain over the fresh ice. Garnish with a lime wheel. Sip responsibly (and joyfully).

*Hot honey syrup: whisk 1 tbsp LadyBug Hot Honey (Mild or XHOT) with 1 tbsp hot water until smooth (makes ~1 oz; scale as needed). For a spicier kick, use XHOT.
