Hot Honey Whiskey Sour Cocktails

A bar classic—bright and balanced with a gentle honey burn at the finish. It’s the handshake that turns into a hug.
Ingredients
- 2 oz whiskey (bourbon or rye)
- 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 oz LadyBug hot honey syrup*
- 2 dashes bitters (optional)
- Optional: 1 egg white for a classic silky foam
- Garnish: lemon wheel or expressed orange peel

Prep the glass.Add fresh ice to a rocks or coupe glass so it’s cold when you’re ready to pour.

Shake.In a shaker add whiskey, lemon, hot honey syrup, and bitters (if using). If using egg white, dry shake (no ice) 10 seconds first, then add ice and shake another 10–12 seconds until icy.

Strain & garnish.Dump the chilling ice, then strain the cocktail into the glass. Garnish with a lemon wheel or a swipe of orange peel oils.
*Hot honey syrup: whisk 1 tbsp LadyBug Hot Honey (Mild or XHOT) with 1 tbsp hot water until smooth (makes ~1 oz; scale up for party mode). Rye = spicier; bourbon = rounder.
